It was abandoned by its original team, and was then picked up by Lor Dric sometime in February/March, if I'm not mistaken. However, Lor Dric just quit modding the other day, so it was abandoned again. The current state of Red Wars is a mess. The latest version has a lot of bugs, and generally isn't very stable.
