Any recommended armor mods (PS4) I know I'm woefully limited due to Sony, but do you guys use any armor mods that adds armor or makes usually unobtainable armor obtainable/craftable? Currently using Craftable Clothing which lets me craft unenchanted Thieve's Guild (all variants), just wondering if there's anything better. Black Mage Armor is a standalone armor mod that includes Cloth, Light, and Heavy armor sets that are all craftable, enchantable, and upgradable; all sets can be used by every race, male or female. On ps4 there arent really any good gameplay mods or weapons and armor mods because they all make you too op too quickly, what i do is get mods like the hippie mod which adds a bunch of trees or the better horses mod. The only exception i have is this mod called (i think, i cant really remember) the plague and makes the game at least 10× harder.
Skyrim: Special Edition brings a prettier Skyrim to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but many people are hyped about the fact that console players can now use mods to change up their games. While mods are somewhat limited on console, there’s still a good range to choose from. Let’s take a look at a few of the best.
Ring of Increased Carry Weight (PS4 and Xbox One)
You’ll never be overburdened again with this mod. It adds a ring with 1,000 extra carry weight, and a second with 1,000,000 carry weight. You can purchase the rings for 200 GP from Belethor’s General Goods in Whiterun.
Falskaar (Xbox One)
This mod adds an entirely new land mass and questline for you to explore. It’s all fully voice acted and features new spells, a new shout, and about 30 hours of new content. It’s a beautiful display of modder creativity.
Phenderix Magic Evolved (PS4 and Xbox One)
The Phenderix Magic Evolved mod adds 370 new spells to your spellbooks. There’s a plethora of new elemental spells, and you’ll be able to summon any creature you may have encountered in Skyrim. It offers new ways to use spells, too. You can turn enemies into helpless animals, or send them on a journey through space and time.
Power Greatswords (Xbox One)
Folks love a good treasure hunt, and that’s exactly what you’re getting in the Power Greatswords mod. The mod places four two-handed great swords into the world for you to find (although the modder does give you a few clues). The swords all have custom textures and glow in the dark for great effect.
The Forgotten City (Xbox One)
The Forgotten City’s brand new six- to to seven-hour story sees adventurers solving a murder mystery in a city deep beneath the earth. It’s fully voiced and boasts an original soundtrack. On top of that, the story is non-linear, forcing you to even travel through time and navigate the twists and turns of moral dilemma. It’s an impressive feat in modding, to be sure.
Unofficial Skyrim: Special Edition Patch (Xbox One)
Skyrim might have gotten an overhaul, but that doesn’t mean the game is free of flaws. This patch helps to solve that by fixing all bugs not caught by Bethesda’s developers. The mod is frequently updated, and they even provide a changelog so you can track which bugs have been fixed.
Rich Merchants of Skyrim: Special Edition (PS4 and Xbox One)
This mod fixes a simple, but often highly annoying problem players experience in the game — broke merchants. It’s pretty frustrating when you’re trying to sell off the sweet treasure you’ve just uncovered, only to find that most of the merchants in town can’t even afford to take it off your hands. The Rich Merchants mod solves that by increasing merchants’ gold counts to 10,000.
Just Walk: No Fast Travel (PS4 and Xbox One)
If you’re serious about immersion in your Skyrim games, look no further than the Just Walk mod which, well, forces you to walk everywhere rather than resort to Fast Travel. It blocks fast travel messages and disables fast travel options for most of the base game. If you’re looking to explore, there’s no better mod than this one right here.
Invincible Dogs of Skyrim (PS4 and Xbox One)
Modder Micahghost made this as a memorial for his own late husky pup. It makes sure that your dog companions can’t be killed, and introduces a number of new types of dogs for you to befriend. We think that’s mighty nice.
Alternate Start: Live Another Life (Xbox One)
You’ve probably played through Skryim at least twice. If that’s the case, you might be sick of the opening hour of the game in which you’re a convict headed to the chopping block. Alternate Start gives you a few more options at the beginning of the game to make things a bit more interesting. The mod lets you skip Helgen altogether and choose from a number of different backgrounds that will ultimately affect your character’s story.
Dawnguard truly did justice for vampires in the TES series.
But if there’s one thing we can all agree on, I hope it’s that players can never have enough when it comes to additions. Especially TES fans.
If you’re still playing Skyrim to this day, that means you’re one of those hardcore fans that will probably get the TES VI pre-order as soon as you can.
It’s likely you’re still trying different Skyrim playthroughs to this day, and one that every player seems to love is the true vampire playthrough.
The main problem is that vampires do need some tweaks – even if you have Dawnguard installed.
So I’ve compiled a list of mods that will enhance your vampire experience in Skyrim and take it to the next level. Enjoy them all and see what your vampire Dragonborn is capable of!
10. Vampire No Sun Damage
What’s what, you say immersive mods are your thing? Then check this one out for sure.
It basically lets you take less damage under the sun when you’re wearing hoods or helmets, as well as any protective gear that might keep your skin from directly interacting with sunlight.
It’s not OP either, as not all damage is removed.
However you do take less damage to all your attributes when using extra gear!
9. Belua Sanguinare Revisited
BSR is the first total overhaul for vampires on my list. And it’s one that you’ll want to try out even if you have Danwguard installed.
This mod has been highly touted as the best vampire mod in Skyrim, and it remains such for many users around the world.
It tweaks basically everything from the base game, including the fear and feed systems.
The mod also gives you access to customization tools of your own, so you can dictate how your character looks and acts while in a vampiric state.
Scare people and enjoy an immersive progression system that puts Skyrim’s own vampirism features to shame.
8. Bat Travel Vampire
Now this mod allows you to transform into a swarm of bats to travel quicker, much as vampires did in traditional films and cartoons.
And trust me, it’s fun.
It looks a bit cartoonish and not as serious as other mods, but it’s still quite a cool addition to have in the game. Definitely worth at least trying(you can always uninstall, right?)
7. Lustmord Vampire Armor
One thing that I couldn’t miss on my list is a proper vampire armor to wear on female characters.
Female vampires are some of the most popular characters in Skyrim (shocking, I know).
And using the Lustmord Vampire Armor is going to take your experience to the next level.
The set itself is as detailed as I’ve never seen, with some exclusive features that make it one of the absolute best armor mods from the entire community.
And it has some additional surprises that you might want to check out – including explosive crossbow bolts!

6. Dynamic Vampire Appearance
This is a must-have mod if you’re looking for immersion as a vampire.
It changes the way the face of your vampire looks depending on which vampirical actions they’re performing.
Have you just sucked the blood out of an innocent?
Watch the blood drip out of your vampire’s mouth for a while after feeding.
Are you using the vampire night vision skill?
Then watch how your eyes turn yellow and glow like never before.
As if that wasn’t enough, your face will also change as you advance through the various stages of vampirism. Each stage has its own custom look, adding way more realism than you’d probably ever want to ask for. And it’s fantastic.

5. Royal Bloodline – Vampire Lord Perk Tree
The Vampire Lord in Dawnguard is easily one of the best additions ever made for the game.
Turning into a Lord is absolutely awesome, and fear-inducing for all sorts of foes. But the skill tree does leave a bit to be desired.
This mod aims to change that by creating a new skill tree for Vampire Lords that helps to enhance the difficulty of the game. Just a bit.
It also gives the game some extra tweaks to further improve vampirism.
4. Predator Vision
This aims to incorporate the vision that Predator has in the movies into Skyrim.
It does so brilliantly. Not to mention that vampires, werewolves, and Khajit will be able to use it.
Basically, your character will be able to see clearly at night when you activate this skill, which will enable you to hunt like a proper night-dweller.
This skill is a great complementary to for the classic vampire vision that Skyrim comes with.
3. Better Vampires Fangs
This is also one that you’ll want to install if you’re after deep immersion.
Skyrim Imperial Armor Mod Ps4
I suggest you give it a go alongside the Dynamic Vampire Appearance mod, as they both create a much better image of vampires than what Skyrim and Dawnguard have managed to do.
This one makes vampire fangs look far more natural by reducing their length and adding them to female vampires as well.
The eyes and shape of their faces will also look much better with this mod installed – give it a go!
2. Sacrosanct – Vampires of Skyrim
If you thought that the other vampirism overhaul on my list was good, you’ll want to check this one out.
Sacrosanct completely transforms vampirism into something much better by adding new perks, abilities, a new skill tree, and much more.
Skyrim Armor Mods Ps4 4
It’s hard to list everything so this is one of those mods you’ll want to install and play with for a bit to really see what it can do.
1. Better Vampires 8.4
Better Vampires takes the first spot on my list because it allows you to tweak vampirism to your liking. And it offers a lot of tweaking.
One of the reasons why many players don’t turn into vampires is because it makes you feel like you’re not in control most of the time. But this mod changes all of that.
You can choose how easy you want it to feel when you’re a vampire, or how difficult you want it to be. It’s all up to you.
Make it a challenging experience, keep it for a little while, or lower the vampirism difficulty and just slay everything. This is basically choose your own adventure, vampire Skyrim edition.
